Welcome to Peak Function

Optimized Movement. Maximized Performance.

About us

At Peak Function, we help people move better and feel better by addressing how the body functions as a whole. We integrate hands-on bodywork with movement-based therapies and strength-informed guidance to improve mobility, restore balance, and reduce pain. Our work supports athletes and non-athletes alike, with an emphasis on efficient, sustainable movement that carries into everyday life.

Our Approach

Our approach is grounded in biomechanics, movement science, and nervous system regulation. We assess how joints, tissues, and movement patterns interact across the entire body, identifying compensations that contribute to pain, inefficiency, or recurring injury. Rather than isolating symptoms, we address load distribution, structural alignment, and motor control to improve how the body absorbs, produces, and transfers force. By restoring efficient movement patterns and supporting tissue and nervous system adaptability, we help clients build durable, resilient movement that supports long-term function and performance in everyday life.

Meet Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly Faulkner, founder of Peak Function—welcome!

I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in sports and orthopedic massage, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and a Track & Field coach with both a USATF Level 1 certification and a high jump–specific certification from Altis. Since becoming an LMT in 2016, I’ve pursued 11 additional certifications—including four in just the past year—to continually expand my knowledge and refine my practice. My work is rooted in a deep passion for human movement, recovery, and performance, helping athletes and active individuals move smarter, feel better, and perform stronger.

My foundation in performance comes from my time as a Division I Track & Field athlete at the University of Washington, where I earned my B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Physiology. As one of the top-three high jumpers in school history, I know firsthand how critical recovery, structure, and movement efficiency are to achieving peak performance and longevity.

Over the past two years, Peak Function has evolved into a trusted, performance-focused space serving athletes of all ages and clients navigating pain, injury, or movement limitations. The most rewarding part of my work is helping people restore function, overcome pain, and rebuild trust in their bodies—so they can return to the activities they love, stronger than before. By blending sports and orthopedic massage with performance-driven care, I focus on addressing the root causes of dysfunction—not just the symptoms—while supporting long-term durability, resilience, and performance.

Today, I also serve as the Head High Jump Coach at Cherry Creek High School and am the founder of Mile High Jumps—Denver’s newest and only club dedicated exclusively to high jump, long jump, and triple jump (COMING SOON!). Whether on the treatment table or the track, my mission is to help people move with intention and perform with confidence.

Most recently, I’ve partnered with The Performance Shift in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility designed to bring specialists together under one roof. This collaborative space creates a true one-stop shop for athletes of all kinds, integrating performance, recovery, and wellness services to help every individual optimize training, refine movement, and maximize performance. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply looking to move pain-free again, I’m here to support you with science-backed methods and hands-on care tailored to your goals.

As we step into this next phase of growth, I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you for being here—I’m honored to be part of your journey.
